Black bean and peanut soup

This recipe is for calming the heart and is good for eye sight and kidneys.

Black bean is cold in nature and tastes sweet. It helps to tonify our kidneys, calm the heart and is good for eye sight.

They are very high in fiber, folate, protein, antioxidants, and vitamin B, along with numerous other vitamins and minerals.
 





INGREDIENTS
30gm black beans
50gm peanuts 
2 pieces of dried scallops
8 pieces red dates (in my case, i am using giant red dates, therefore 2 pieces) 
1200ml water
300gm chicken breast or chicken pieces
 
Seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste










METHOD
1. Rinse black beans and peanuts and soak in water for 30 minutes
2. Scald chicken meat in boiling water, rinse and put into cooking pot
3. Put all ingredients into the cooking pot and bring soup to boil for 10 minutes
4. Transfer soup to slow cooker and stew for 3-4 hours
5. Add seasoning
