Tai Ping @ Royale Chulan

Tai Ping is Royale Chulan's Chinese restaurant. As its name suggests, you will end up too peaceful so much so that you may be the only diner there. Specializing in Cantonese cuisine, the restaurant is halal. The overall rating for this place is pretty much explained by its award for being one of the best restaurants under Malaysian Tatler for year 2013.The restaurant doesn't have that many selections in the menu. The price range would be an average for a hotel. Vege dishes, fried rice and noodle dishes for a pax of 3 - 4 ranging from RM40 to RM60 while its seafood range is based on seasonal price per gm.

The broccoli with braised mushrooms, sea cucumbers and baby abalones dish is worth the try. The sauce is so sweet and natural and tasty. My favourite is the steam hong chou with teochew style. The soup based fish dish is superb. The dinner was hearty and delicious, and the perfect meal ended with sea coconut with baby ginseng root.
